In early 2007, we started our cupcakes business called American Candy Stand. We ran a market stall in the city of Adelaide’s Rundle Street Markets and have now opened our very own Cupcake Café in the trendy area of Norwood.
We open Tuesday to Sunday and most days we open late for Cupcakes, Coffee, American Hot Dogs, Bagels and light snacks Our opening times are here.

    My grandmother taught me to cook, she used to run a catering business back in the 60's and 70's. I remember sitting on her kitchen table watching and waiting to lick the spoon from her delicious creations, so I feel have learnt from the best. I started many years ago making my grandmothers homemade fudge for friends and family when we decided that this could be something we could build a business on.

We looked at flavour inspirations to offer Australian customers something different and while doing research on the internet I found myself very inspired by the American flavours, they are so exciting to the palate. Australians don't mix peanut butter and chocolate together.
